Keith Povich

Keith Povich is passionate about pursuing all aspects of business and improving the efficiency with which companies operate. An Honors graduate of SUNY Brockport, Povich then completed his MBA at the University of Rochester's W.E. Simon Graduate School of Business with a focus in finance. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Povich relocated to Rochester, NY to work with and eventually assist in the growth of a local-area family business, Electric Plus. Povich formally worked as the Director of Operations for Electric Plus. He accepted his current position at the beginning of 2013 and continues to guide the investment strategies of UKM. His latest venture, I Buy Rochester, focuses specifically on real estate investments. Povich also works as a consultant for various other companies, primarily on ways to gain greater overall efficiency using both financial analysis and his own experience in operations. Keith cites his grandfather, a first generation Italian immigrant, real-estate owner, and successful businessman, as inspiration for his own business pursuits. In his free time, Povich loves to travel and give back to the community. He currently serves as a board member for Celebration of Life Community, a grassroots organization focused on increasing literacy rates through one on one tutoring.In addition, he serves as a Leaders Build committee member for Habitat for Humanity and is a board member for The Neon Institute for High Performance, a cultural art center based in Johannesburg, South Africa. He greatly enjoys exploring various cultures throughout the world - he just returned from a Mexican retreat and is planning his next excursion.
